Patricia Veesart, Regional Director :

Taking on the Regional Director's position in March 1999, Pat started with the KSBDC as the Assistant Director in 1994. She brings a background in retail sales, office management and marketing to her clients to help them build skills and knowledge through the KSBDC. In addition to working with established businesses, she has worked with many start-up businesses as they build their business plans and financial projections to analyze the feasibility of their ideas. She also presents a variety of seminars for business people. Pat earned her AA degree at Cloud County Community College at Concordia, KS and her BS and MS degrees in management fields at Friends University of Wichita, KS.

Cristina Aslin, Assistant Director :

Cristina began her career with the KSBDC in September of 2005. She became the center's Assistant Director in December of that same year. Cristina earned a Bachelor of Business Administration from Southwestern Oklahoma State in Weatherford, OK. She worked as a tax accountant in Wichita, KS before planning & starting her own photography business in 2004, Cristina Aslin Photography, LLC. Cristina is married to Lucas Aslin (Head Football Coach of the GCCC Broncbusters!) and they have an amazing son, Carter who is the JOY of their lives.

Kathy Nance, Administrative Professional :

The anchor of our system is our administrative professional, Kathy. She handles inquiries both on the phone and those that walk-in, organizes the office and the staff, and helps us keep the necessary paperwork done. Kathy's days are widely varied with questions, clients, and seminar scheduling. She attended Kansas State Teacher's College.

 

 

Mark Buckley , Greensburg Consultant:

Mark Graduated from Emporia State University,
Receiving his BS in Marketing Education,
And his MS in Marketing. He taught Marketing for 11 years,
at Hutchinson High School, and Barton County Community College.

Mark has owned numerous successful businesses including
A Painting and Tile Business, Hallmark & Office Supply Store and
Lionel Train Service Center. In 1990 Mark went into private consulting.
He has worked with over 60 manufacturers; retailers and small businesses, helping them increase their sales and employee productivity

For three years Mark was the director of Youthbuild, a High School Drop out program in Hutchinson. For one year Mark served as the Region IV, Workforce Development Regional Director for the Kansas Department of Commerce. For 10 years Mark has served as a staff consultant with the Kansas Small Business Development Centers, he is currently assigned to the Garden City Community College Center in Greensburg, KS.
